KES Old Boy awarded Conspicuous Gallantry Cross!

Graham was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  Graham decided to follow in his older brothers’ footsteps, Bradley and Richard (also a KES old boy), who had already enlisted in the British Army Parachute regiment, and Graham was awarded his wings in 2005. Graham has seen active service in Northern Ireland and been on numerous deployments to the Middle East, one of which was where he carried out a courageous individual act whilst under heavy enemy fire which resulted in this very special award.  Graham recently participated in a re-enactment of Operation Market Garden which took place during WW 11 where 10000 airborne troops parachuted in Arnhem to save the bridge. At present Graham is based at St. Athan Military Complex in the United Kingdom.
