King Edward Old Boys & Friends Association Annual Golf Day⛳
Fun in the sun at Rand Park Golf Club as 180 golfers, OBA and friends of the King Edward VII School joined us at our annual event.
Longest drives, closest to the pin, laughs, occasional cold beverage 😉 and friendships shared at this great event.
Thank you to all who supported in giving donations/sponsorships/prizes/buying raffle tickets/playing on the day….without you, this event would just not be the same. Special mention of thanks to Old Boy Glenn Mackintosh from Cablemac sponsoring arm sleeves for our golf day.
Special mention of thanks and applause to Derron van Eeden for organising another highly successful event. Red Army proud.
Till 30 August 2019, the date for our next Annual Golf Day…..keep golfing!
Red Reunion Assembly: Classes of 1953, 1958, 1968 and 1978.
Always a very special occasion when we welcome home our Old Boys back to their Alma Mater.
Celebrating their 65th, 60th, 50th and 40th year reunions respectively, our Old Boys attended a special Reunion Assembly followed by tea and eats out on the magnificient view at Buxton House.
Addresses by Old Boy Rohan Quince (Class of ’68) & Alan Peter (Class of ’78), spoke of our rich tradition, strong brotherhood and gave wonderful messages of sound future advice to our boys. We are so priviliged to have the knowledge, wisdom and passion of our red brothers. The School Choir also entertained our visitors with beautiful sweet tunes.
Enjoy your special reunion weekend – sons of this place!
We are Red – Strenue.
