KES Old Boy elected President of Worldwide Organisation of Chiropractics!

King Edward VII School Old Boy, Luke Eric Schmidt (Class of 2007) has for the past 7 years been studying Chiropractic at UJ (like so many King Edward Old Boys before him).

Two years ago he was nominated to join the UJ chapter of World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS-an International Student Congress of all the Universities), around the World that offer Chiropractics as a course. Luke went to Australia for this Congress as a UJ representative. Following that he lead the UJ delegation to Malaga in Spain and at the final night of the congress he was nominated and elected as the African Regional Director ,as well as President of the Worldwide Organisation of Chiropractic Students! This is quite an achievement as Luke is the first African delegate ever selected to this position. As such he will be chairing next years WCCS conference in Atlanta in the USA.

Congratulations Luke on these accolades and achievements! We wish you well for the upcoming conference and know you will be flying the KES colours with pride and passion.
